The 432C Power Meter is a digital readout power meter which uses 478, 486, 8478 series thermistor mounts. Automatic zeroing from front panel switch. Three digit plus overrange digit readout. Uses a DC bridge circuit. Recorder outputs both analog and digital. Has control lines providing BCD outputs and remote control inputs which allow remote programming of both instrument range and fine zero controls. Provided with connecting cable for mount.

The 8478B provides high efficiency and good radio frequency (RF) match are characteristic of the 8478B coaxial thermistor mounts. Used in conjunction with the 432A power meter they provide high accuracy even in routine power measurements. These thermistor mounts are temperature compensated for low drift, even in the presence of thermal shocks, permitting measurement of microwave power as low as one microwatt.
