The VG922B is an NTSC system Closed Caption Encoder conforms to the closed caption broadcasting systems in the United States. The VG922B is designed for testing a closed caption decoder. Closed caption data is superimposed on the 21st line (1st field) and 284th (2nd field) of the external composite video signal which is input from the external signal source.
Also, output level and timing of the closed caption data are controllable by the corresponding volume control provided on the front panel of a main frame.
