The MG642A is a pulse signal generator which operates at clock frequencies of 50 to 2000MHz and can generate pseudo-random patterns by shift regester 15 stages and programmable patterns with 8, 12, and 24 bit lengths. This unit works in combination with the MS65A error detector.
