60 MHz digital storage oscilloscopes (clockfrequency 50 MHz)
The Philips PM 3310 is a digital storage oscilloscope which offers a quite unique range of display and analysis facilities. Basically, they Sample the signal in order to make the analog-to-digital conversion and then store the digital signal in a semiconductor memory. Unlike conventional storage which fades away, this technique offers the facility of permanent storage plus the ability to change certain display parameters after the signal has been captured.
