A single phase surge coupling/decoupling network to enable pulses from Item 534 (NSG 651) to be coupled into the single phase mains supply for tests on the EUT or system. Such tests are prescribed in IEEE-587; ANSI-C6245; VDE 0109; & IEC 801-5. The CDN 110 is supplied with the necessary connections to the NSG651 and incorporates safety interlocks. It normally sits under the NSG 651. It couples voltage pulses of up to 6.6kV which follow the curve 1.2/50uS (open circuit) or current surges of up to 3kAmp which follow the 8/20uSec curve (short circuit) plus combined or hybrid surges into single phase power lines 230Vac.
