The FA-405 is a 200W Power Supply that provides a continuous output. It is adjustable from 0 to 40 V and from 0 to 5 A.
The control of the power supply is totally digital. It has a large illuminated LCD display that makes it accurate and comfortable when setting the output conditions. It also has an output disconnection button to avoid breaking down the device by a programming mistake when user is changing adjustments. The power supply has OVP (over-voltage) protections, OCP (over-current) protections, OPP (overpower) protections and OTP (over-temperature) protections. They provide a safety work environment for users. A special button allows blocking controls for greater safety and it prevents settings from unintentional changes.
During the design of the FA-405 it has been taken into account some careful considerations about safety without sacrificing the easy way of use.
The incorporation of a rotary knob as well as the buttons to program incremental changes (in percentage) provide a way of use really easy, which is uncommon in programmable power supplies. The use of switched technology provides a high power efficiency and a very good weight / power ratio. It has a RS-232C interface for remote programming by means of a PC.
