The OM220 is a general-purpose power meter suitable for a both premise and outside plant applications. This unit is ideal for measurement of optical power and optical loss/attenuations in a fiber optic network. When paired with an OS400 series source the OM200 series meters are ideal for single-mode (OS430ST, OS430SC, OS430FC laser source) or multimode (OS420 LED source) applications. The meter is calibrated at the four most common industry standard wavelengths for both single-mode and multimode transmitters. The 2 mm Germanium detector offers a broad dynamic range of ~60dB which far exceeds the requirements of the majority of users.
