The OS420VSCEL light source is for premises and campus cabling networks with multimode fiber, or single-mode fibers under 5km. For testing 50 and 62.5 micron multimode applications. It has an active device mount for testing insertion loss in a multimode fiber applications. The ST connector outputs can be adapted to any cable plant with hybrid adapters or hybrid cables. The OS420VSCEL has 2 outputs one 850nm VSCEL with ST connector. And one 1300nm LED output also with ST connector. The OS420VSCEL becomes a powerful low cost troubleshooting and maintenance tool when used with an Advanced Fiber Solutions OM120 or OM220. This dual port unit can be used to test Gigabit Ethernet and other multimode LAN systems. This easy to operate unit features a 3 position slide switch, 850nm - OFF - 1300nm and a low battery indicator.
