The Tektronix 7934 Storage Oscilloscope is a solid-state, wide-bandwidth instrument designed for FAST WRITING speed storage applications. Three display modes are available at the front panel-Nonstore, store, and Save: as well as four storage modes-Bistable, Variable Persistence, Fast Bistable, and Fast Variable Persistence. In addition, the REDUCED SCAN feature increases the stored-writing speed capability.
Power supply voltages are closely regulated to maintain instrument performance when variations in line voltages, line frequency, or plug-in load occur. The light-weight, high-efficiency, power supply operates from 115 or 230-volt nominal supply source from 50 to 500 hertz.
The instrument's high vertical bandwidth 500 megahertz, fast-storage-writing speed, and four plug-in compartments which accept 7-series plug-in units, form a highly flexible measurement system.
OPTION 2: Provides phase correction when operating in the X-Y mode. A delay compensation network is added to equalize the signal delay between the vertical and horizontal deflection systems.
OPTION 3: Enables the 7934 to meet the EMC-Electromagnetic Compatibility requirements.
