Arbitrary Waveform Generator The OG800A is a wideband arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) capable of generating high resolution waveforms for demanding telecommunications applications in the automatic test equipment (ATE) environment. The four channels of the OG800A operate synchronously from a common synthesizer clock and flexible triggering system with perchannel deskew timing adjustment, making the OG800A a perfect match for 1000Base-T four-wire DUT testing. This 24mm OpenStar module communicates with the mainframe via the OpenStar optical bus making waveform loading lightning fast for quicker test times. The OG800A includes an agile synthesizer that is coherent with the host tester. The test engineer can choose sample rates from 6.5 MS/s to 800 MS/s. This makes the OG800A well suited for IF and RF subsystem test as well.
