The ASI-500-1 Control Head Simulator is a stand alone universal control system capable of controlling a wide range of communications transceivers navigation units ADF DME and transponder systems. The ASI-500 may be paired with virtually any interface panel system whenever the control application requires parallel BCD or 2x5 switching for the UUT. The ASI-500 interconnects directly to the ASI-2000 (via the supplied ASI-10-500A cable) for manual testing of Pro Line units.
The ASI-500-2 is identical to the ASI-500-1 except that it also has the ability to tune 8.33 kHz spacing per ARINC-566A.
