The optical programmable attenuator Q8182 is equiped with a general-pyrpose interface bus (GPIB) which allows full-remote operation of this attenuator.
This equipment can set attenuation within the range from 0 to 60dB with a resolution of up to 0.01dB and the OFF range (crosstalk greater than 70dB) which shildes the light.
It has easy-to-use up?down keys for attenuation setting which allow the respective digits of the attenuation level to be set manully. When pressed continuously, the key can also set the higher digits in succession.
The Q8182 will handel a single-mode fiber and is accurately calibrated at 1.31 and 1.55um.
