EMI Pre-compliance Receiver from 150 kHz to 1 GHz
The PMM 7000 receiver is by far the most complete, low-cost receiver system available for pre-compliance emission measurements to CISPR 16. Offered with standard features and performance only available in much higher priced systems, the PMM 7000, together with its included software package, is complete and ready to use.
Designed to be operated by non-EMC experts, Radiated and Conducted testing are easily performed with a minimum of training. All current standards used for "CE" marking have been preloaded and others can be loaded as needed. The built-in 16 A LISN and software control, automatically switches between phase and neutral to provide the worst case results for screen display and print out.
Testing and "fixing" with the PMM 7000 gives confidence that the product will pass when submitted for full compliance testing. Thanks to its small size, the PMM 7000 is an ideal tool to perform on-site measurements. The PC that drives it can load setups and save measurements for further analysis and report writing back at the lab/office. All measurements can be performed using Peak, Quasi-Peak and Average detectors simultaneously. In addition, the graphed results of all three detectors can be displayed simultaneously as well.
Other PMM 7000 features include: the ability to invoke the "Worst 10 Pks" function for recording progress in making emission performance improvements; The use of the "Spectrum Mode" for instantaneous feedback on the results of each corrective action; A zoom mode for a better view of a specific portion of a signal and finally, the use of optional near field probes for isolating "hot spots" in a failed product.
