FSM30PF Fusion Splicer
The FSM30P is suitable for special fiber splicing. In addition to conventional GI (MM), SM and DSM (DS) single-core optical fibers, the new arc fusion splicer can splice dissimilar special fibers that are cut-off shift fibers (CS), erbium-doped fibers (ED) and others.
The FSM-30P splicer is used to manufacture general optical modules. The FSM-30PF splicer is used for optical modules requiring higher reliability with high-tensile splice and short striped length.
Features:
1. A new type fiber holder system that simplifies fiber preparation and provides stable splice loss.
2. New arc parameters and a new arc discharge system that enables low splice loss when splicing dissimilar special fibers.
3. A new estimator for more accurate estimated splice loss.
4. Arc discharge parameters and splice results can be transmitted between the splicer and a PC centralized control to enhance operation efficiency.
