Avtech AVD offers a unique line of tunable and fixed-tuned highpower solid-state VHF and UHF monocycle generators for ultrasonic, SAW, radar (including ground penetrating radar), TDR and network characterization applications. The frequency
tuning option, small size, and high output power permit many novel applications. Units in the frequency range of 200 to 5000 MHz produce a single sinusoid output while units in the range of 20 to 200 MHz produce a more rectangular doublet, as
shown in the photos above. The AVD is a fixed-tuned unit for the frequency range of 400 to 1500 MHz. The pulse repetition frequency of -C units is variable from 100 Hz to 1 MHz using the internal clock oscillator that is controlled by a four-position range switch and a one-turn control.
