The TV Demodulator AMF 2 is used to convert the RF signal
of a TV transmitter or transposer into the video and sound
signals. Analysis or comparison with the original video and
sound signals permits distortions to be recognized and faults
to be found based on the type and amount of distortion.
Thanks to its negligible inherent error, the AMF 2 is ideal for the acceptance and initial adjustment of transmitters and
transposers as well as for their development, alignment and
continuous performance monitoring. Moreover, some parameters
can be measured only with the aid of the special facilities provided in the TV Demodulator. The AMF 2 is therefore fitted with envelope and synchronous detectIon, switch-off sound trap. Q signal output and zero reference pulse.
