The Fluke 1120A is a refurbished IEEE-488 Translator. The Fluke 1120A is the link between IEEE-488 bus and a variety of Fluke instruments. The Fluke 1120A converts codes and signals on the bus to codes and signals compatible with instruments. The Fluke 1120A can handle up to three instruments at a time. Multiple Fluke 1120A's can be used in a system. Use of the Fluke 1120A requires that a "personality" card for a particular instrument be installed in the Fluke 1120A. These cards are supplied with compatible instruments.
