The MN9625A/9626A Programmable Optical
Attenuators have excellent attenuation performance. They are calibrated
with a high- ccuracy calibration system over an attenuation range of 0
to 60dB.
The MN9625A has a superior wavelength
flatness of 0.2dBp-p max. by using an attenuation element with very
flat wavelength characteristics. It is the ideal instrument for
evaluating WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) optical amplifiers in
which gain flatness vs. wavelength is an important factor. Moreover,
the MN9626A has a built in optical monitor output for monitoring the
level of through light.
