Current Pulsers and Laser Diode Drivers (Pulsed Current)
The AV-108E-5A-B pulsed constant current generator (or pulsed laser diode driver) is designed for driving laser diodes and other low impedance loads with peak currents as high as 12.5 Amps and average currents to 0.44 Amps. The pulse width is adjustable from 20 us to 1 ms, and the rise and fall times are 5 us or less. Load voltages as high as 90V may be accommodated. This model can deliver average powers of up to 40 Watts directly, and does not require any additional power supply other than the standard AC 100-240V, 50-60 Hz.
