1 GHz Wide Offset Phase Noise Filter w/ cable, mount and connector covers
The 9600FLT 1GHz Wide Offset Phase Noise Filter accessory is purpose-designed for high performance spectrum analyzer wide-offset phase noise tests, connecting easily to 9640A models in either benchtop or rack-mounted applications.
Even with the best low phase noise signal sources filters are commonly used during spectrum analyzer phase noise testing to reduce noise levels at wide (high) offset frequencies and improve test margins. Only the highest performance spectrum analyzers are likely to require use of this filter. The filter can only be used at 1GHz and rejects phase noise at greater than 1MHz offset from the 1GHz carrier (both sidebands are rejected).
