The Aaronia MDF line are broadband, active magnetic field tracking antennas, suitable for signal tracking and field strength measurements. Due to the high directionality of the antennas, the MDF is ideally suited for signal direction finding.
The special conversion factor of the MDF, in conjunction with a Power Meter showing dBm values, gives a direct dBA/m display with correct sign (power meter function).
In contrast to the passive versions of the antennas, the MDF 930X, 940X and 50400X come with a directly attached preamplifier. The extremely high antenna gain allows the measurement of ultra-weak signals. Antenna applications include pre-compliance testing, DSL, ADSL, VDSL, 13.56MHz RFID, etc.
