The Fluke FLK-TiR4/FT FlexCam portable thermal imager with a vanadium oxide (VOx) uncooled microbolometer sensor and a 320 x 240 focal plane array (FPA) captures high-resolution infrared images of thermal patterns, and is commonly used in building diagnostic applications, including energy audits, building and system maintenance, assessment, and repair. This thermal imager detects temperatures -20 to +100 degrees C (-4 to +212 degrees F), with an accuracy of + or - 2 degrees C or 2%, and has a thermal sensitivity of less than or equal to 0.05 degrees C (50 milliKelvins) at 30 degrees C. It merges visual and thermal images to pinpoint problem areas and provide a recognizable image for ease of identification, and can display a full thermal, a full visual, or a picture-in-picture image for flexibility in viewing. The germanium lens articulates 180 degrees for capturing images in areas with poor accessibility. Its 5-inch high color LCD screen provides clear images for ease of viewing and analysis. It has a thumb-operated focus wheel for ease of handling. This thermal imager can output images and data to a computer for analysis, comparison, annotation, and reporting. It has a laser pointer to help target objects during imaging, and the integrated flash and torch light help capture images in dark environments. The imager provides the operator with the ability to save a text annotation about an image for later review, and it can capture a sequence of images for inspection. It is Ingress Protection certified IP54 for protection against dust and splashing liquid. The European Conformity (CE) marking indicates compliance with applicable European Union (EU) directives.
