The Exfo FIP-USB4 is a video inspection probe kit that is needed for checking
connectors and other fiber terminations for polish quality and cleanliness in
modern high-bandwidth optical systems.
The probe can be directly connected to a FOT-930 MaxTester or using the USB
adapter module can be connected to a FTB-400 mainframe or a laptop PC running
Windows 2000 to view the endface of a fiber.
The probe kit includes:
Video inspection probe (FIP-P5 200/400X magnification).
USB module (FIP-USB).
FC tip (FIPT-FC), ST tip (FIPT-ST), SC tip (FIPT-SC),
and universal 2.5mm patchcord tip (FIPT-U25M)
